   Each office is managed by a director, who is responsible for supervising the staff, for administering its office budget, and for directing its substantive work.  Legal Aid Services of Oregon has program-wide priorities for the types of cases it accepts and each office has its specific target areas and case-acceptance policies. Because of the diversity of the communities that we serve, the program Has a commitment to local-office decision making.

   Legal Aid Services of Oregon provides a supportive and challenging work environment that is conducive to professional growth. The program encourages staff involvement in decision-making by both union and management employees. Legal Aid Services of Oregon offers generous benefits and is flexible in accommodating employee needs.

    The overall program administration is undertaken by the Central Office, located in Portland.  The Executive Director, Director of Administration, Director of Finance, and Human Resources Administrator are located in the Central Administrative Office. The State Support Unit, housed within a separate program, provides training, mentoring, co-counseling, coordination, and support for legal services attorneys and pro bono attorneys working in Oregon's comprehensive coordinated delivery system.
